Sun Alley (1999)
Director: Leander Haussmann
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A teen pic set in the '70s following the lives of a gang of 17-year-old boys in East Berlin: falling in love, trying to buy rock'n'roll records and avoiding national service. The sinister absurdities of the regime provide ample opportunities for jokes - good, bad and indifferent - but it's a lightweight offering, buoyed chiefly by a great music track.Author: SB
