The Invincible Barbarian (1982)
Director: Frank Shannon Franco Prosperi
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
In a dark barbaric age gone by, savage tyrant destroys village and massacres inhabitants. Surviving child grows up into incredibly strong/manly/muscular hunk who eventually murders tyrant and avenges dead family. Sounds familiar? No, it's not Conan the Barbarian but Gunan the Warrior, an Italian rip-off which has neither the style nor the special effects of the real McCoy. But the bills for designer loincloths, eye make-up and tomato ketchup must have been astronomic.Author: MG
