It Started in Naples (1960)
Director: Melville Shavelson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
One-joke romantic comedy in which Gable (stiff with American honesty and hygiene) and Loren (voluble with Italian guile and grubbiness) squabble over the future of an orphan child fast turning into a delinquent amid the dolce far niente temptations of a travelogue Italy. Originally intended as a vehicle for Gracie Fields (it happens on Capri), it is kept afloat chiefly by Loren's engaging ebullience.Author: TM
