I Want What I Want (1971)
Director: John Dexter
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Anne Heywood as the transsexual son of a Major (Rtd, currently working as a supermarket manager) who decides to fully become a woman (one year later he/she has a 'completely successful' operation). Dexter's The Virgin Soldiers, his only previous film, had its points; but this absurd non-exploration has none, aside from one image of sexual frustration powerful only because the rest of the film is so misconceived, misbegotten and coy.Author:
