Rough Night in Jericho (1967)
Director: Arnold Laven
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
It's a rough night anywhere with this dispiritingly routine Western. Dean Martin is the bad guy determined to become boss of his whole town, Simmons the victim of his evil machinations (she owns the stagecoach line), and Peppard the handsome stranger (ex-deputy marshal, now professional gambler) looking on. The only question is, how long will it take Peppard to make up his mind to intervene? The answer is, a long time. The characterisation is rudimentary, the direction sluggish, the action brutishly brutal.Author: TM
