Rude Boy (1980)
Director: Jack Hazan, David Mingay
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Scoring highly, if only for its excellent Clash concert footage, this blunt portrait of post-Jubilee Britain actually does much more: showing both left and right as cynical manipulators, and a Clash fan following his leftish band even though himself a potential National Front recruit, it has its finger (if not brains) on the pulse. Marred by some simplistic editing, it's another nail hammered into the coffin of rock and roll. See it and find out why The Daily Mail was disgusted and The Clash disowned it. DMacp.Author: DMacp
