Money, money, money... Selim's a straight kind of guy, unimpressed with the usual day to day temptations of graft and greed, whether at his shirt shop or at home. But when a flash encounter leaves him sitting on half a million dollars of stolen loot in the back of a taxi, he turns worm. Played with conviction, this is a standard issue noir thriller of spiralling self-entrapment and alienation limited by the very same secular condition it depicts.Author: NB
