Unbelievably stupid idea of setting archive footage of the years before and during World War II to the music of the Beatles, performed by an insane assortment of singers accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic. The connections made ('The Fool on the Hill' accompanying shots of Hitler at his mountain retreat in Berchtesgaden) are crushingly crass.Author: GA
