Aloma of the South Seas (1941)
Director: Alfred Santell
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Grin-and-bear-it melodrama of the Tropical Paradise variety, dismissed as routine nonsense even at the time. Lamour and Hall, reunited from Ford's The Hurricane four years earlier, mouth some unbelievable dialogue in aid of a story which manages to include the obligatory cataclysm (a volcano erupting) as part of the action.
