Often overrated version of Agatha Christie's play in which a group of people with no discernible connections are invited to a remote island mansion by an unknown host, only to be murdered one by one. The macabre humour is the best thing about the movie, with the suspense rarely tightening the screws and some of the performances (Fitzgerald in particular) tending towards cartoonish caricature. Enjoyable, though, which is more than can be said for the 1965 (as Ten Little Indians) and 1974 remakes.Author: GA

- Posted on Apr 25 2008 02:54 This movie is so awful and nothing like the book. I would not recommend it; you will be bored to death with thinking how terrible the 'visual effects' are, and how bad the acting is.
