Flynn and Dieterle picked the short straw when the assignments were being handed out at the studio that week, for this African colonial melodrama wherein spouse Francis finds herself torn between husband Hunter and British army officer Flynn is flimsy fare indeed. Footnote: whenever a Warners movie of the '30s featured a cinema marquee in the background, the stock title Another Dawn was invariably featured.Author: TJ
