Arabian Adventure (1979)
Director: Kevin Connor
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Lavishly mounted Arabian Nights fantasy including the usual magic carpets, evil caliphs, cheeky beggar boys and comely princesses, but lacking the requisite invention and fizz. Tobias is the heroic prince whose task it is to retrieve the legendary Rose of Elil, defeat dictator Lee and win the hand of fair Emma Samms. Crisply photographed by Alan Hume, and in terms of effects and model work an improvement on director Connor's earlier lost-world pictures.Author: TJ
