From Time Out Film Guide

This international co-production is another example of the increasing energy of new Korean cinema. The global village of endemic urban isolation, coupled with the new and attendant hopes of remote digital community, is explored with calm and understated poignancy. When a lonely Seoul civil servant meets an alienated Tokyo student via the latter's appearance on a webcam site, the fragile but blossoming relationship teleports the action from virtual spaces to the real landscapes of Alaska.
