Zombie Flesh-Eaters (1979)
Director: Lucio Fulci
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A slight but very gory pulp zombie tale in true spaghetti style: on a lurid voodoo isle (complete with white doctor), fading stars and clones slug it out with the living dead. A massacre. One twist: the cannibal-zombies eventually take over New York ('They're breaking through the door... aaargh!'), where they no longer look out of place. But the lack of suspense amid the Technicolor carnage disappoints. Subtle it ain't, but the title alone should keep art lovers away. DMacp.Author: DMacp
