Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Not unlike one of Corman's Poe films updated to '70s Seoul (with a little Ugetsu Monogatari thrown in), this tells of a feckless, morose student torn between life and death, Eros and Thanatos, when he meets a variety of strange and supernatural beings. Some of the special effects look a little elementary, but the whole thing is extremely enjoyable, and the scene where the hero has sex with a ghost next to an automatic toaster has to be seen to be believed.
