The Killing of Angel Street (1981)
Director: Donald Crombie
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Factually based political thriller in which a girl exposes the involvement of both government and organised crime after her father dies in mysterious circumstances while fighting attempts to 'persuade' the inhabitants of a row of terraced houses to make way for high-rise development. Not bad, though very lightweight and lumbered with a silly romance. Phillip Noyce's Heatwave, made the same year, did much better by the same facts.Author: TM
