Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Colourful location work scarcely makes up for the frequent turgid passages in this Hollywood version of Rudyard Kipling's novel. Stockwell essays the British-born, Indian-bred orphan who carves out a niche for himself as a spy for the Empire. Lukas is the Lama who teaches him a thing or two, Flynn the red-bearded spy who takes over his education. Politically indecorous, too.Author: TCh
