Thank You, Jeeves! (1936)
Director: Arthur Greville Collins
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Niven was a support player for Sam Goldwyn when Fox borrowed him for third-billing in this charming B-picture scripted by Joseph Hoffman and Stephen Gross from the novel by PG Wodehouse. Bertie Wooster gets entirely the wrong idea when mystery woman Field asks for help in fending off pursuing gangsters. Treacher steals the show as Jeeves, but Niven makes a very passable Bertie. Relatively minor, but, unlike a lot of bigger movies, it knows not to demand too much of your time.Author: TJ
