That Riviera Touch (1966)
Director: Cliff Owen
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
When British TV comics become firmly established as household favourites, some klutz will always suggest that they make a feature film (even Cannon and Ball made one, The Boys in Blue). This was Morecambe and Wise's second cinema job (after The Intelligence Men): a routine caper with jewel thieves, gangsters, and speedboats - and plenty of padding shots of the Côte d'Azur. It was unworthy of their talents then; it looks even worse now.Author: MA
