The Three Marias (2002)
Director: Aluízio Abranches
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Torrid designer revenge fluff about three sisters having to do it for themselves after their family's menfolk are wiped out by a trio of frenzied bandits. It's about as unthinkingly amoral as Road to Perdition, though never so proficiently produced. Indeed, the bathetic overreach of the director's deliriously aspiring stylings is the most fun thing about the film.Author: NB
