Three of Hearts (1992)
Director: Yurek Bogayevicz
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Shallow and virtually compromised out of existence, this film claims to examine the complex dynamics of a hetero-lesbian triangle, but does nothing of the kind. Jilted lesbian Connie (Lynch) hires outwardly macho, inwardly sensitive male escort Joe (Baldwin) to seduce her ex-lover Ellen (Fenn), break her heart and send her running back. The film settles for the obvious: half-hearted lesbian Ellen falls for Joe. Everything here is disingenuous, starting with the fact that the only lesbian relationship depicted is over before the film begins. Ironically, the one friendship which persuades is Joe and Connie's.Author: NF
