Tierische Liebe (1995)
Director: Ulrich Seidl
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Voyeuristic documentary about people using pets as substitute love (sex) objects. Various sad loners nuzzle, jerk off, frolic and sleep with their animals. Why does nobody here have a normal owner-pet relationship? Why are so very many of the human subjects grotesque low-lifes? Just how much of this is staged for the benefit of the camera, and why? Any film in which the most sympathetic character is a ferret has got to be doing something wrong. Horrible.Author: GA
