Till Death Us Do Part (1969)
Director: Norman Cohen
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
This big screen spin-off from the then current TV series (both written by Johnny Speight) traces the Garnett family saga right back to 1939 to figure out just how Alf (Mitchell) became such an opinionated old so-and-so in the first place. In its favour, it preserves the original characterisations at something like full strength and doesn't attempt to stitch three weekly episodes together and pass it off as a feature.Author: TJ
