Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
An older woman (Laurie) falls in love with her handsome, slightly retarded gardener (Gibson). A downer? Not really, it's triumph over adversity/love conquers all, and not a dry eye in the house at the fadeout. Gibson acquits himself well in this tricky early role, but Pate's adaptation of Colleen McCullough's first novel doesn't break any ground.Author: TCh
