Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

Looking almost like a parody of a film by Kore-eda or Hou Hsiao-Hsien, this slow, static study of a number of directionless individuals hanging out at a pool hall, sleeping a great deal and occasionally playing some none too inspiring music is beautifully shot and, for a while at least, fairly intriguing as to the precise nature of the relationships on view. However, the lack of information and narrative drive eventually becomes frustrating, and the terminally disaffected youth who are the film's main 'characters' risk losing the viewer's patience.
