Tribute to a Bad Man (1956)
Director: Robert Wise
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Cagney dominates the Wyoming range in this absorbing Western. Jack Schaefer's story focuses on a cattle baron's ruthless hold on his vast territory and the tension that arises when his Greek mistress Papas attracts the wrong kind of attention from farmhand Dubbins. Good stuff, with a worthwhile concentration on the way the West actually worked for a living, and Cagney making an impressive replacement for Spencer Tracy, who walked off the picture after quarrelling with director Wise.
