Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A straightforward interview with one of America's leading indie auteurs, intelligent and respectful but perhaps over-indulgent to Hartley's tendency - in conversation, at least - towards abstraction. It never quite catches his gentle but sharp wit, but it shows his modesty. The clips are fine, and it's good on the gulf between ambition and achievement.
