A bizarre liberal homily about a Kaspar Hauser-type innocent born out of a wall. Originally a phantom known only to his putative kid sister Lisa (b/w PoV shots from inside her bedroom wall confirm the presence of a spirit), he swaps places when she's killed in a car crash and the building is demolished. Emerging from the rubble with a bruised smile, a yen for his parents, and an innocent impressionability, he's clearly socially delinquent, though he's variously mistaken for an accident victim, a new immigrant and a paedophile. His own actions stack up little better than folks' reactions to him; but, thanks mainly to Lie Kaas' performance, the film manages moments of pathos within the parameters of its absurdity.
