A road movie starring, not the inevitable Peter Fonda, but Henry as a terminally ailing truck driver who steals his vehicle back after it is repossessed, picks up six evicted prostitutes during his cross-country career, and becomes a folk hero to the media and cheering public. Sounds kinda familiar? Beware movies that undergo successive title changes (it also became known as Elegant John and His Ladies) and get cut to boot.Author: TM
