Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

A 10-year-old boy starts to die of neglect when his widowed father spends too much time forsaking his parental duties in favour of playboy activities and a jet-set life-style. With the onset of leukaemia remorse comes by the bucketful, ending with a particularly grisly final trip to the fairground. Never have the artifacts of high living seemed so unattractive, or a film looked so much like somebody's holiday snaps. More of the same was provided by Last Moments the following year.

Posted on Dec 16 2009 14:19 I saw this film as a 10 year old and cried. My siblings laughed at me.
Any parent subjecting children to this should be shot, it's emotional pornography.

Posted on May 09 2008 04:13 The Last Snow of Spring was the sweetest and most tender movie I had ever watched. I saw it in 1978when I was 8 years old and it has stayed with me ever since. Even the music has stayed in my head and my heart. Unfortunately, I have never been able to see again. I have tried Blockbuster, the internet and even HBO but no one seems to have it. Everyone I have ever mentioned it to have said that they never saw it. I was beginning to think that I was the only person that ever watched it. If I could get a copy of the movie to share with my family, please let me know where and how I may get it. I have had my box of tissues waiting for a long tim

Posted on Jul 04 2007 21:53 A very rare type of film which is highly touching. If you can watch this without breaking away or getting distracted, it should truly move you to tears. This film really does highlight what our true values in life should be, and shows just how much we tend to distract from this, and only realize and wake up to our innermost feelings when the time has passed us by. A BRILLIANT FILM !!
