From Time Out Film Guide

Imagine the matador sequence from Pink Narcissus mixed with all the elements of a particularly cheesy Spanish soap and you're halfway to picturing this send-up of Latin passions. A gay Mexican boy from Brooklyn falls for his straight cousin - and a hunky male model has his penis chopped off by his jealous lover and stuffed down his throat. The acting is wooden, the plot a mess, and the limits of the budget show. But the whole thing's so deliriously over the top, it hardly matters. PBur.
