A genteel British courtroom drama, adapted from Edward Wooll's 1934 play. Aristo Bogarde's convenient amnesia prevents him from recalling anything of his life before his flight from a German PoW camp, whereupon Canadian airman Massie reveals to the press that the real baronet died during the escape and, ergo, Bogarde is an imposter. Even spouse de Havilland has her doubts in this fustian and rather creaky piece of plot-heavy fluff.Author: TJ
