Lines from the Heart (1996)
Director: Christina Olofson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
The Swedish actresses Harriet Andersson, Gunnel Lindblom and Bibi Andersson spend a few days in the Provençal home of the late Mai Zetterling, the actress and director for whom they worked together in The Girls three decades before. The three discuss Zetterling, their lives and careers, Ingmar Bergman, the effects of ageing, maternity, etc, intercut are clips from Zetterling's movie. A 'fly on the wall' documentary - but the three celebrated actresses often look cramped by the camera and the need to 'perform' naturally.Author: GA
