From Time Out Film Guide

Young check-out girl Rosalia (Ortega), who spends her spare time reading to the blind, sits dreaming at a Buenos Aires supermarket till, distressing shoppers with her ethereal talk and smiling to herself at her compassionate telekinetic skills, realising she may indeed be a 'good fairy' with extraordinary powers - isn't that how maturity feels? Elsewhere in the city, a young scientist (Birabent) employed in a government astronomical survey searching for extra-terrestrial intelligence, daily checks his internet for closed circuit shots of a bus-shelter, where he has regularly spotted Rosalia waiting for her bus. This is a sweet but daft 'magical' romance which cross-cuts between - and thus connects - these two romantics, side-stepping sentimentality by way of sure, graceful performances. Héctor Alterio as the girl's 'frightened' father is superb, as ever.
