The Lost World (1960)
Director: Irwin Allen
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Dreary version of Conan Doyle's yarn about an expedition to a prehistoric enclave in the South American jungle (the silent version of 1925 was at least fun). The characters are insufferable, the dialogue abominable, and Willis O'Brien's special effects are hamstrung by Allen's decision to use real reptiles disguised as monsters.Author: TM
