Unrelievedly unimaginative offshoot from the Italian strong-man series, with a distinctly European garden standing in for the Amazonian jungle as Maciste sets off in quest of lost treasure, only to be pressed into service as a stud by the Amazon queen. Bored robot actresses walk through their non-roles in an understandable daze; and to cap it all, far from being staunchly independent, the Amazons are depicted as woeful figments of a chauvinistic male ego.Author: VG
