From Time Out Film Guide

The march of the danger sport brigade towards international recognition continues apace with the simultaneous UK release of the hip skateboarding movie Dogtown and Z-Boys and this spectacular extreme sports extravaganza featuring, among others, skateboarding 'god' Tony Hawk, innovative freestyle BMX-ers Matt Hoffman and Dave Mirra, plus outrageous freestyle Moto X-er Travis Pastrana. Interviews and soundbites are interspersed with the film's raison d'être, namely its stunning visuals. Filmed almost entirely on IMAX stock, the action-filled 2-D images are so beautifully framed and breathtakingly vivid you can almost reach out and touch them.
