Underneath the Arches (1937)
Director: Redd Davis
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Routine, seedy vehicle for Flanagan and Allen as stowaways in a silly spy plot, with less songs and more daftness than needed. Some gems: a suicide pact with a policeman in a London fog, a drunk Scotsman, a rigged boxing match. But overall, 'orrible. This was the film that set the pattern for the series of Crazy Gang comedies that followed. DMacp.Author: DMacp
