Posted on Feb 21 2008 20:55 I did not like this. Bloated, bland, empty.Supposed to show the effects of globalisation and technology on the new pre-Olympics China.Interspersed with vignettes and personal stories in a grandiose setting.Sometimes gorgeous to look at.But like after too much opera one comes rushing back into reality's embrace. Is this capitalism viewed through a communist lens. All I can say is 'not the world's greatest film maker under 40'.
