From Time Out New York

Sometimes actors take a swing at filmmaking and hit one out of the park. But for every pleasant surprise, there's a puddle of cutesy-poo glop like this self-reflexive comedy about a flaky actress, courtesy of writer, producer and actor Jenna Mattison and directed by former Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green. Leaving aside both Mattison's and Green's obliviousness to the difficulty of generating sympathy for a feckless airhead, the film's greatest liability is Mattison's conviction that scrunching up her face like a five-year-old and unrolling her big wet smile is irresistible.
