From Time Out New York
In this would-be steamy noir, a rich man dies in a suspicious swimming accident, his beautiful widow (Bisset) returns from a cruise with a smarmy new fiancé, and her brooding son (Garcia) concludes that they killed off Dad. Enter the fiancé's daughter (Evans), who is obviously bad news, although the son's too busy boffing her to notice. Between frequent scenes of soft-core moaning and heaving, the usual noir elements—greed, infidelity, revenge—slowly clank into place. But they're so uniformly predictable that we can't stay interested, much less fascinated.Author: MS
