Dead & Breakfast (2004)
Director: Matthew Leutwyler
Movie review
From Time Out New York
Reduce your expectations—a title like Dead & Breakfast certainly suggests you do so—and you might be pleasantly surprised. At first, the movie seems to bear all the earmarks of inauspicious straight-to-video fare, as six friends in a Winnebago pull up to the backwoods town of Lovelock and soon find themselves pitted against carnivorous, zombielike hicks. But an anarchic, goofy sense of humor quickly asserts itself, setting Matthew Leutwyler's flick in higher company—not quite Shaun of the Dead, but up there.Author: JR
