- Posted on Jul 21 2009 19:19 Preminger's first English language film and opera baritone Lawrence Tibbett's last screen appearance, this bit of fluff is not quite the screwball comedy it aspires to be. A famed opera star clashes with a Chicago socialite, and not surprisingly true love wins out in the end.
