From Time Out New York

Airship engineer Dr. Graham Dorrington is a walking contradiction: He displays the exuberance of a six-year-old boy in the weary face of a man haunted by his past. In 1993, he attempted to pilot a balloon over Sumatra, but saw his friend and cinematographer die when the voyage didn't go as planned. A decade later, Dorrington is committed to trying again, although this time he's willing to risk only his own life—and, reluctantly, that of daredevil documentarian Werner Herzog, who delivers an engaging portrait. To not accompany him up, Herzog says, would be "stupid stupidity."
