Movie review
From Time Out London
Sharma plays Meethi, a young woman struggling with schizophrenia, in Sen’s melodrama. Initially passing almost as a comedy of manners set among a well-off Culcutta family, the narrative soon takes several turns for the extreme – Meethi’s bad luck would be enough to challenge anyone’s sanity. Although the reputations of director and cast will ensure attention from Bollywood fans, others might find the plotting and performances – not to mention the almost entirely post-dubbed dialogue – less than enggaging.Author: BW
