From Time Out London
Engaging Danish tale involving time travel, demons and witchcraft. Young Oskar and his best friend Josefine are visiting his grandparents when they chance upon the bearded magician Thorsen who grants them three time-travelling wishes. A pair of ancient trousers is the catalyst that thrusts them both back to the seventeenth century, whereupon they meet a family of ailing ancestors. A quick trip back for some modern medication cures many of their ills but before long the ancient spectre of witchcraft rears its ugly head… With the tales of one Mr Andersen as fresh as ever, here’s further proof that the Danes can still spin a good yarn.Author: DA
