The Lost Treasure of the Knights Templar (2006)
Director: Kasper Barfoed
Movie review
From Time Out London
Three youngsters on holiday on a Baltic island witness the murder of a local vicar which, in true Enid Blyton style, they proceed to investigate. In doing so, they unearth the secrets of a clandestine brotherhood and their quest to locate some of the treasures allegedly buried by the Knights Templar. Barfoed’s modern fairytale isn’t in quite the same league as last year’s similarly-styled festival favourite, ‘Oskar and Josefine’, but it’s an enjoyable enough yarn for the under ten age range it’s aimed at.Author: Derek Adams
