- Posted on Jul 29 2008 23:33 This wonderful noir sleeper from Claude Sautet was released in the same year as Godard's Breathless and features Belmondo as well. Classe Tous Risques is similar in spirit to Jean Pierre Melville's Bob Le Flambeur, More character study than action film (though the action sequences are first rate), it focuses on the last days of a gangster who has run out of friends, time and luck. Superb location photography by Ghislan Cloquet (Italy, Nice and Paris) and fine performances all around are highlights of this fine little film.
