From Time Out London

When her annoying younger brother becomes possessed by a member of a secret lodge who fought against evil more than a century before, spiritually-obsessed teenager, Lulu (Sara Gaarmann), together with new friend Oliver and local paranormal investigator Richard, find themselves charged with freeing souls trapped on nearby Monk island and battling an age-old necromancer with the future of mankind at stake. Similar in tone to Disney’s original ‘Escape From Witch Mountain’ but with better special effects, this benefits from a satisfyingly old-fashioned approach and one terrifically creepy scarecrow, but is let down by a clichéd script.
