“You think it’s over because I’m dead,” teases raspy-voiced Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) from beyond the grave – courtesy of a tape dug out of his autopsied stomach. So the cruel machinations begin again, as director Darren Lynn Bousman tries to spark life into a disembowelled corpse. Parallel plot-strands threaten to strangle one another as obsessed SWAT team member Rigg (Lyriq Bent) and FBI profilers Strahm (Scott Patterson) and Perez (Athena Karkanis) charge about town or interrogate Jigsaw’s estranged wife Jill (Betsy Russell), looking for clues that will save two captive cops from an early bath. The $64,000 question is, can the cops learn to see how Jigsaw sees and feel how he feels? The need to incorporate familiar characters and icons from the earlier films, together with flashbacks that flesh out Jigsaw’s pre-‘puppet master’ past, simply leads to an irritating series of creative dead ends. - Posted on Nov 19 2007 14:23 Really good considering its the fourth,In some ways its a bit to similair to the 3rd one and the end i found a little confusing but over all its pretty good im a big saw fan and i defo think this is a worthy movie in the seres.

- Posted on Nov 18 2007 23:00 damn i truely hate some of the authors for these films. i wasnt a big fan of saw but the pure entertainment factor made me think otherwise. why cant these writers just get off their high horse and just accept a film for what it is, a bit of bloody fun. ipersonally look forward to the next film, but am a little worried as to why the series is set to be 6 films.

- Posted on Nov 13 2007 14:38 Totally immense! All you people out there who say they left feeling confused, YOU'RE SLOW! I found it easy to understand and I thought the plot was excellent. It actually made you think instead of just sitting there watching it. Was gory as to be expected but not over the top, unlike Saw 3, and it left me wanting to see more! Definitely a must-see this year!

- Posted on Nov 12 2007 17:38 Im off to see this tonight, some of my friends say its totally awesome, other say not. Im hard to please with gore. 28 weeks later had just enough gore for me. Thing is, Im only going becuse my BF is and I havent seen any of the other Saw films. I dont see the point in them. Can anyone give me a quick brush up on what they're about? x
